Please arrive at the designated location 30 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
If you arrive late or miss your scheduled departure time your ticket will be forfeited and new tickets will need to be purchased subject to availability
Guests must keep quiet in the cave since glowworms are extremely fragile and sensitive to lights and sounds; taking photos and touching the rocks are strongly prohibited
Please note there are no barrier-free facilities in the Waitomo Glowworm Caves
All tours are subject to availability and weather conditions
Smoking is prohibited on all Discover Waitomo sites
Please do not touch formations. Stalactites and stalagmites take a long time to form. They are easily discoloured by people touching them and the more fragile formations can break. Please help us protect the beauty of the cave
Cancellation Policy
- For cancellations made at least 5 day(s) prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–4 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
