Maklumat produk

Discover the neighborhoods of Athens outside the tourist center, on a relaxing guided walking tour. Visit a cream/cheese pie bakery, the local, see how tonir oven bread is made.

Meet the guide, at ‘’THISSIO’’ metro station.

We will take the metro heading to the cream/cheese pie bakery to watch the process of making bugatsa pies, where you can also buy and taste them.
Visit the local market, established in 1955 by Greek refuges that came from the Black Sea areas (Pontos) in 1922-23. Here you can see the stalls selling vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, seafood, and spices. Learn about the local food scene and the ingredients used in Greek cuisine.

Our last visit is to a ‘’tonir’’ oven bakery. See the oven, which looks like a well, and reaches temperatures of around 300 degrees.

Finally, take a walk around the local market and learn about the customs and the pace of life of the local people.

Take the metro heading back to ‘’THISSIO’’ station.
