Our day begins in the island's rugged mountains with a visit to the impressive Sfendoni Cave, where thousands of years of natural art unfold in beautifully lit chambers. The entrance fee is included.
Continue to a traditional mitato, a stone shepherd's hut tucked away in the highlands. Here you will immerse yourself in authentic Cretan life: watch the goats being milked, pick fresh vegetables from the garden, explore the shepherd's hut, and experience demonstrations of cheese making and the preparation of sweet Kalitsounia pastries.
Afterwards, a generous Cretan lunch awaits you with a variety of local specialties, including the famous Antikristo lamb, slowly cooked in the traditional mountain style. Our final stop is the historic village of Anogia, known for its proud traditions, handicrafts, and warm hospitality.
Stroll through the charming narrow streets, meet the locals, and soak up the atmosphere before we return.
