Product Info

We specialise in elevating how you experience an iconic destination like Drumheller. Every journey with The Seekers is shaped with seamless logistics, thoughtful comforts, and a flexible, unhurried pace. We leave room for spontaneous moments and genuine connection, ensuring the day feels natural and tailored to your group.

Begin your day with a scenic drive east from Calgary into the open prairies, watching the land slowly fall away into the dramatic Badlands — a vast, rugged landscape shaped by dinosaurs, ancient seas, and the slow patience of time.

First, we stop at Horseshoe Canyon and pause at the rim to take in the layered cliffs and ancient formations shaped over millions of years. Slow down, feel the wind, and appreciate the scale of the landscape before continuing deeper into the valley.

From the canyon, we travel toward Drumheller — still a raw and authentic small town built on coal, carved by hardship, and filled with stories of those who worked the earth to survive and thrive. Drumheller’s history isn’t polished; it’s lived. You’ll sense it in the old mine sites, the bridges, and the quiet resilience of the valley.

Our next chapter in the journey unfolds at the Hoodoos, towering stone pillars sculpted grain by grain over unimaginable stretches of time. These formations are nature’s storytellers, shaped by wind, water, and erosion. As we walk among them, you’ll learn how they formed, why they endure, and what they reveal about the earth’s long memory. Their presence is surreal — almost mythic — and standing beside them feels like stepping into another era.

We continue to the Star Mine Suspension Bridge, once used by coal miners heading to work. As you cross, the river below and the valley around you create a moment suspended between past and present. It’s a simple bridge, but it carries the weight of thousands of footsteps and the stories of a community built on grit.

A short drive brings us to the Little Church, a tiny hand-built chapel that seats six people and stands as a symbol of quiet reflection in the middle of the Badlands. Travelers pause here to breathe, take photos, and feel the contrast between the vastness of the landscape and the intimacy of human hope.

Finally, we arrive at the Royal Tyrrell Museum — Canada’s premier dinosaur museum and one of the most important paleontology centers in the world. Wander through halls filled with fossils, reconstructed skeletons, and exhibits that bring the prehistoric world to life. This visit is self-guided, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.

In my other world, I’m a practicing Registered Social Worker. I believe deeply in curating day trips that help us slow down, breathe, and reconnect with ourselves. This philosophy shapes this entire journey because sometimes a single day in an iconic landscape, a quiet moment with history, is enough to put everything back into perspective.
