CAJON DEL MAIPO SIGHTSEEING TOUR + EMBALSE EL YESO + PICNIC｜Chile

We'll leave early in the morning from Santiago to discover the wonderful area of Cajón del Maipo and the reservoir of El Embalse del Yeso, located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, approximately 2,500 meters above sea level.
During the tour, we'll stop at a rustic spot to enjoy breakfast or coffee (not included), before continuing our trip to the mountain range.
Upon arriving at the designated area, and accompanied by our tour guide, you'll take a hike of approximately 2 km to an authorized vantage point, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the Embalse El Yeso and its characteristic turquoise waters. The visit is subject to weather, traffic, and road conditions.
We will also visit La Casa Chocolate, one of the most popular and iconic tourist attractions in the Cajón del Maipo. To end the experience, we'll enjoy a pleasant picnic accompanied by Chilean wine before heading back to Santiago.
Important: Access conditions and road closures
Access to the El Yeso Reservoir is subject to weather conditions and the state of the route. For security reasons, the authorities may order the total or partial closure of the roads to this area.
In the event that the authorities close the access and it is not possible to carry out the experience at the El Yeso Reservoir, the traveler may request a full refund of their booking.
Alternatively, if the traveler decides to continue with the excursion, the route may be modified to other sectors of the mountain range, such as Lo Valdés and Las Melosas, or El Volcán and Baños Morales, which offer mountain landscapes of great beauty.
