Continue to the Cordillera de la Sal, where you’ll admire a rock formation that looks just like the World Cup trophy. From this point, continue exploring by car and on foot with short walks.

Explore the Star Wars filming area and the Salt Mountain in the Cordillera de la Sal, a striking Mars-like landscape of salt and gypsum formations shaped by tectonic activity and erosion. Discover how the rocks expand and crack under the desert sun, and visit an abandoned miners’ bus from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Finally, enjoy a refreshing drink before returning to town to conclude the tour. If you’re lucky, you’ll witness a breathtaking desert sunset over the Cordillera de la Sal.
