Explore two of the most fascinating destinations in West Bohemia on this full-day excursion from Prague. Discover the elegance of Karlovy Vary, one of the most famous spa towns in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and delve into medieval history with a visit to the medieval town of Loket.

You'll start the day in Karlovy Vary, known for its hot springs and refined architecture. Accompanied by a tour guide, you'll walk through its iconic colonnades and along its riverside promenades, discovering the history of this city founded in the time of Charles IV. During the tour, you'll discover its most famous fountains and be able to taste its mineral waters in keeping with local tradition. You'll also visit iconic locations that have served as the backdrop for films such as Casino Royale, adding a special appeal to the experience.

After the guided visit, you'll enjoy free time to have lunch, explore at your own pace, or relax in one of its historic cafes.

In the afternoon, you'll head to Loket, a charming medieval village surrounded by a spectacular meander of the Ohře River. Stroll through its cobblestone streets and be captivated by its history and idyllic surroundings. If you choose the option with castle admission, you can also visit this impressive medieval fortress at your own pace, touring its historic rooms, exhibits, and the former prison.
