Next, drive into the sheltered waters and islands of Strangford Lough, a haven for birds, peaceful coastal lanes, and tidal islands. Midday brings a stop in Portaferry, where you’ll enjoy lunch or a walk by the harbor, and explore local artisan shops in this picturesque part of Northern Ireland.

To round off the experience, stop at either the vantage point overlooking the Copeland Islands or the Greyabbey Monastic site, where ancient ruins meet tranquil coastal scenery. Your driver/guide will then take you back to Belfast, giving you a richer view of Northern Ireland’s quieter coastal identity.
