Maklumat produk

Begin your walking tour at Parliament Square, where you’ll discover the Muslim connections starting from the 1600s. Learn about Oliver Cromwell, the prime minister, who wrote letters to Muslim rulers with verses from the Quran. Find out how he knew about the Quran so early.

Next, head to Whitehall to meet a Moroccan ambassador who came to London in the year 1600 along with another 20 or so Moroccans to meet Queen Elizabeth I, trade, and make a treaty with her to attack Spain. Visit a site where he was entertained and see how his legacy still lives on today.

Continue to Trafalgar Square, where you’ll see an Ottoman cannon that some historians state was used in the 1453 conquest of Istanbul. Discover more than one Muslim connection, including a hidden Muslim Crescent symbol from more than 200 years ago.
