Delightful Advent Tour: Sparkling Wine, Cookies & Mulled Wine in Würzburg｜Germany

Würzburg shows its festive side during Advent: On the Alte Mainbrücke, we toast with Franconian sparkling wine or non-alcoholic Secco and enjoy the atmospheric view of the festively lit Marienberg Fortress and the Käppele.

Our path then leads us through the old town, decorated for the winter season, accompanied by sweet cookies and gingerbread. Together, in a small group of a maximum of twelve adults, we set off in search of contemplative places and pause at the cathedral and Neumünster, where we hear stories about Franconian Christmas customs and learn how people celebrated Christmas in the Middle Ages and the Baroque period. The festive finale is mulled wine or punch at the Christmas market.
