Continue to St. Michael and Frauenkirche, where you'll learn about the religious influence of the Wittelsbachs. Discover how they shaped the city's religious landscape and left a lasting legacy.

Next, head to Marienplatz and the Old Town Hall, where you'll hear stories of medieval dukes and their battles. Learn about the individuals who ruled, from battle-hardened medieval dukes to the art-collecting, scandal-ridden 19th-century kings.

Visit the Alter Hof, the former residence of the Wittelsbachs, and learn about the colorful personalities, shocking stories, and rivalries that shaped the dynasty. Continue to the Staatliches Hofbräuhaus, where you'll hear about the Wittelsbachs' influence on beer culture and the Oktoberfest.

Next, head to Max-Joseph-Platz and the Residenz, where you'll learn about the Wittelsbachs' architectural legacy. Discover the palaces and castles they built and the art collections they amassed.

Finally, visit Palais Preysing, Odeonsplatz, and the Theatine Church, where you'll hear about the Wittelsbachs' influence on art and culture. Learn about the good, the mad, the bad, and the ugly of the Wittelsbach dynasty and how they shaped a land and its people.
