Begin your adventure with a convenient early morning pickup from your accommodation in Nairobi. Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, located about 160 kilometers northwest of the city, on the floor of the Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive through the park, which is home to over 50 animal species and more than 400 bird species. Keep your eyes peeled for rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos, gazelles, hyenas, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, cheetahs, baboons, elands, impalas, waterbucks, and more.

As you drive, admire the park's soda lake, also known as Lake Nakuru, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Learn about the park's history as a bird sanctuary, established in 1966 to protect flamingos and other endemic birdlife.
