Wine culture is such a big part of Moldova’s heritage, that this underground city is not even the largest in the country. The Mileștii Mici winery is known for having tunnels over a total length of 200 km and the largest wine cellar in the world. Today, the collection exceeds 2 million bottles and can be visited at any time of the year, with a constant underground temperature between 12-14 degrees Celsius. The winery is located approximately 20 kilometers south of Chișinău, in the Ialoveni district. Here you will pair 3 wines (dry white, dry red, vintage dessert wine) with a selection of prosciutto crudo, salami, carpaccio, breadsticks, nuts, prunes.
