Itinerary Overview

Estimated pick-up from Fairbanks hotels around 14:00. (B&Bs/Airbnbs are not included in the pick-up service). The specific pick-up time will be notified one day before the trip.

Drive north along the Dalton Highway, with multiple stops along the way for photos, wildlife viewing, and learning about the history of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Your guide will share stories about life in Alaska and local history.

Cross the Yukon River and stop at the Yukon River Camp to stretch your legs and enjoy the view of one of Alaska's most iconic waterways.

Arrive at the Arctic Circle in the evening. Reach the Arctic Circle sign, where you can take photos and receive an Arctic Circle certificate.

Depart for the return trip to Fairbanks. Since the return journey takes place in the Arctic night, it creates excellent conditions for viewing the Northern Lights. When the aurora appears, the guide will make multiple stops at carefully selected observation points along the Dalton Highway. Observation locations are chosen in real-time based on cloud cover and aurora intensity, and the guide will assist guests with photography if conditions permit. The number and duration of stops will vary depending on the intensity and duration of the Northern Lights.

Estimated return to Fairbanks for dismissal at 4:00 the next morning.

Important Notes:

1. The Northern Lights are unpredictable and appear irregularly due to natural weather conditions, so we cannot guarantee that you will see them.

2. To avoid missing the tour due to flight delays, it is not recommended for guests arriving on the same day as the tour to participate.

Purchase Notice

1. The Dalton Highway is primarily a gravel road with only some sections paved. The road surface contains loose gravel, occasional potholes, and may be dusty or muddy depending on weather conditions. Additionally, there is almost no mobile signal along the Dalton Highway.

2. This tour is limited to adults aged 18 and over.

3. For the safety of pregnant women, it is not recommended to participate in this tour.

4. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon unique to the polar regions. There is a very high probability of seeing them in good weather, but it is possible that they may be faint or invisible due to weather or other natural factors. No refunds will be provided if they are not seen or if the viewing quality is poor.

5. During the aurora viewing, please do not use the flash on your photography equipment to avoid disturbing others.

6. Temperatures in Alaska are low in winter. Please prepare warm clothing according to your personal needs, such as down jackets, fleece jackets, hats, scarves, non-slip snow boots, sunglasses, etc.

7. Smoking is prohibited on the vehicle during the tour.

8. If you are unable to participate in the tour or withdraw from any part of the journey due to personal reasons (lack of travel documents, flight delays, lateness, illness, accidents, etc.), the paid tour fees will not be refunded, and no other compensation will be provided.

9. If there is a discrepancy between the time stated in the itinerary and the time notified by the guide on-site, please follow the guide's notification.

10. You will receive a link before the trip to fill out an electronic liability waiver. All travelers must complete this waiver. If you or your companions have not completed or refuse to fill out the waiver before the tour begins, you may not be able to participate in the trip.

A minimum of 4 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 2 day(s) before the departure date
