Ulaanbaatar: Terelj Horseback & Nomad Family Tour with Lunch｜Mongolia

After a 10:00 AM hotel pickup, travel east from Ulaanbaatar toward Terelj National Park. On the way, stop at a traditional ovoo, a sacred stone cairn used in local spiritual practices. As you continue into the park, take in the area’s striking alpine scenery, unusual rock formations, and seasonal wildflowers.

One of the day’s cultural highlights is a visit to a nomadic family, where you’ll get a firsthand look at Mongolia’s traditional countryside lifestyle. Learn how herding families live, sample local dairy products, and enjoy an authentic cultural experience that offers insight into a way of life that has remained largely unchanged for generations.
