• Chaunsath Yogini Temple (900 AD): The oldest surviving temple, carved from granite and dedicated to Goddess Kali.

• Kandariya Mahadeo Temple: Towering at 31 meters, this is the largest temple of Khajuraho. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, its walls are alive with graceful carvings of gods, goddesses, lovers, and celestial maidens.

• Chitragupta Temple: Facing the rising sun, this temple honors Surya, the Sun God. Inside, a striking 5‑foot image of Surya stands with his horse‑drawn chariot.
