- This is a day trip bus tour exploring the spectacular scenery of Yamagata. Starting from Yamagata Station, you'll climb the 1015 stone steps of Yamadera Temple, a nationally important cultural property with 1100 years of history, and enjoy a grand panorama that changes with the seasons. A tour guide will accompany you, explaining the sights and history. You can also enjoy Yamagata's representative cuisine and sweets at Yamadera Temple. Plus, you'll receive a 1000 yen coupon that can be used at various shops! After lunch, you'll visit Okama, a crater lake in Zao, a representative geopark of Yamagata. With its mystical emerald green crater lake, alpine plants in summer, and autumn foliage, it's one of Tohoku's most spectacular scenic spots. ~Schedule for the day~ Meet at 8:50 Depart at 9:00 Arrive at Yamadera at 9:30, followed by 3 hours of sightseeing and strolling Depart Yamadera at 12:30, arrive at Zao at 13:45, approximately 2 hours of free time for sightseeing, depart Zao at 15:45, stop at Yamagata Tourist Products Center for shopping (approximately 40 minutes) Arrive at Yamagata Station, disband at 17:30 Plenty of time, a relaxing tour with no transfers
