We’ll begin at The Historic Market Square of San Antonio, the largest Mexican market in the United States and one of the city’s most colorful gathering places.

Start your morning the way locals do—with a freshly prepared taco served on a warm, handmade tortilla at a family-owned taqueria. Simple, authentic, and packed with flavor, it’s the perfect introduction to the city’s culinary roots.

From there, we’ll take a short stroll through Historic Downtown, uncovering fascinating local history and passing some of San Antonio’s most iconic landmarks. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a creative twist on the beloved bean burger at the city’s top-rated burger joint—a modern favorite with deep local ties.

We’ll continue walking past architectural treasures like San Fernando Cathedral and the Bexar County Courthouse, two stunning examples of the city’s historic beauty.

No visit would be complete without time at the enchanting River Walk, Texas’ #1 tourist attraction. Along the river, you’ll savor tender Texas BBQ brisket, a true taste of the state’s legendary barbecue tradition.

To finish, we’ll cool off with a scoop of handmade sorbet or gelato as we make our way toward the city’s most unforgettable landmark—the Alamo.

And of course, like every Secret Food Tour, this experience includes our exclusive Secret Dish, revealed only to our guests on the day.
