Discover the natural beauty and fascinating history of the Atherton Tablelands on this premium full-day small-group tour from Cairns. Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle through rolling green landscapes, ancient rainforest and charming heritage towns.

Begin with scenic lookouts including views of Walsh’s Pyramid before ascending into the cool tropical rainforest of the Tablelands. Visit Lake Barrine in the World Heritage Wet Tropics, see the 1000-year-old twin kauri pines and enjoy a traditional Devonshire morning tea with scones, jam and cream.

Continue to Yungaburra and the impressive Curtain Fig Tree for a guided boardwalk experience. Travel through Malanda before arriving at Millaa Millaa Falls, one of Australia’s most photographed waterfalls, where you can swim in the refreshing rainforest waters. A restaurant-quality lunch is included during the day.

Journey on to heritage-listed Paronella Park for a guided walk through its Spanish-inspired castle ruins and tropical gardens, with free time to explore the grounds. If time permits, stop at Babinda Boulders for another swim before returning to Cairns in the late afternoon.

This tour operates daily with a small group of 6–20 guests and is suitable for travellers with moderate fitness levels.

  • If your guide is not at your pick up location on the dot, please do not panic, they will be on their way and we just ask you to be patient.

  • No refunds will be given for no-shows or late arrivals.

  • Bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen and hat if you plan to swim.

  • Carry cash or card for optional purchases such as ice-cream.

  • Bring a refillable water bottle.

  • Departure time may vary depending on pickup location.

  • Itinerary may change due to weather or operational requirements.
