Do you ever look up at the night sky and wonder what's out there? On this 1-hour guided stargazing tour, you’ll explore the cosmos with a seasoned professional using both the naked eye and a powerful Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.

You'll meet your guide at Ironwoods Beach Parking, and they’ll take you on a 5-minute walk to the beach where the telescope will be set up, ready for the tour to begin. Throughout the tour, you will learn about planets, stars, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies, as well as history and mythology connected to the night sky. At the end of the tour, your guide will take you back to the initial meeting point at the parking lot.

This experience offers a perfect blend of science, culture, and incredible celestial views.

  • Know Before You Go: Unfortunately, due to the terrain and stairs, this tour may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. You will be provided with red light torches and you must be able to walk up and down stairs with limited lighting

  • Know Before You Go: Please note that views through the telescope will not appear the same as the detailed images seen in photographs. While the telescope provides incredible views of celestial objects, long-exposure photography captures colors and details not visible to the naked eye
