Depart at 08:00, the journey takes about 2.5 hours, passing through the Matanuska Valley surrounded by three mountain ranges, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of glaciers, rivers, lakes and mountains along the way.

The destination is the Matanuska Glacier in the United States, which is accessible by car. Follow a professional guide for a 2-3 hour glacier hike, equipped with a full set of safety gear including crampons, and get up close to the spectacular blue ice, ice walls and crevasses. The guide will provide commentary throughout the hike.

  • Helmets and crampons are provided free of charge.
  • Professional tour guide service throughout the trip; tours depart with a minimum of 2 people.
  • The price includes: round-trip transportation to the designated hotel in Anchorage, entrance tickets to glacier attractions, professional equipment for glacier hiking, and professional guide services.
  • The price does not include: personal meals, and other expenses incurred for personal reasons. Driver and guide gratuities are not included; suggested gratuities are $20 per person for drivers and guides, and $20 per person for glacier guides.
