As a nature reserve and protected area, it has garnered UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status since 2011. Renowned for its abundant biodiversity, Berlenga island is home to diverse avian species, marine creatures, and distinctive flora.

The trip will last approximately 3.5 hours, allowing ample time for independent exploration or relaxation on a scenic beach during the excursion.

  • Meeting point description: Meet at stand no. 3 at the Marina of Peniche. Please arrive at least 40 minutes before the start of the tour.(Ribeira Velha 3, 2520-619 Peniche, Portugal)

  • Extra fees to be paid on-site: all guests will have to register in advance on the ICNF platform and pay a tourist tax of €3 per person in order to obtain the Berlenga Pass. You will receive further information on your voucher after booking
