-What you can expect-
On this day trip, you will visit some of Iceland's most stunning sights and will be able to make the most out of your day. The day starts with a visit to the Geysir geothermal area, where the active Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 meters into the air every 4-8 minutes.

The trip continues to Gullfoss waterfalls, a two-step waterfall filled with meltwater from Langjökull glacier. You will also visit the geological wonder of Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart a few centimeters every year.

You will also visit the sustainable Friðheimar greenhouse, an eco-friendly farm where the geothermal heat helps to grow delicious tomatoes and where methods to manage pests are biological. The visit to the Friðheimar greenhouse, gives this Golden Circle trip a sustainable twist!

  • Meeting point description: The tour will start from the BSI Coach Terminal, located in downtown Reykjavík. If pick up was selected, please be ready and waiting 30 minutes before the start time listed on your voucher. If pick up is not selected, please make your own way to BSI Bus Terminal (Vatnsmýrarvegur 10, 101 Reykjavík), arriving 15 minutes before the start time.

  • English-speaking guide is available daily

  • German-speaking guide is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

  • French-speaking guide is available on Sundays

  • Scandinavian-speaking guide (either Swedish, Norwegian, Danish) is available on Fridays

  • Warm clothes, waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes are recommended

  • Thermal layers, a winter hat, scarf, gloves and warm socks are recommended for colder days
