Maklumat produk

Are you ready to discover the history and traditions related to the Jubilee Year?
The Jubilee is the most important event in the Christian world. Just like seven hundred years ago, when the first Jubilee was declared, thousands of pilgrims, Christians and tourists continue to go to Rome to receive the remission of sins. Together we will walk in the center of the eternal city retracing the life of popes and artists. We will start from Piazza Barberini where you can admire Bernini’s Triton Fountain and then we will go to Trevi Fountain, where you will discover its history and legends. We will see the Temple of Hadrian from the 2nd century AD and the breathtaking church of Sant’Ignazio of Loyola. Afterwards we will visit the Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva which houses one of Michelangelo’s masterpieces and the tomb of Saint Catherine of Siena. We will admire the Pantheon and the three masterpieces of Caravaggio in the Church of San Luigi of French. Finally we will visit Piazza Navona, where you can admire works by Bernini and Borromini, remains of the ancient Stadium of Domitian and listen to the bloody legends about Pope Sixtus V. We will finish our tour in Piazza Campo de Fiori, where the heretic Giordano Bruno was burned alive by order of the Pope, and where you will walk through the oldest market in the city.
