This E-Bike tour offers a complete exploration experience, combining the open-air history of the Via Appia Antica with the mystery of its subterranean foundations. Don't just see the past—visit its depths!

Our Advantage: Direct departure from the Appian Way.
Unlike other operators, we don't waste precious time cycling through dangerous city traffic. We begin our adventure immediately in the protected park area (Via Appia Antica no. 136). Reaching our location is easy via bus 118 or a short taxi ride from central Rome.

History Made Easy: Thanks to the electric assistance of our high-quality E-Bikes, you can effortlessly cycle over the ancient stones of the 'Queen of Roads,' admiring tombs and mausoleums. The E-Bike makes covering this vast historical area comfortable and enjoyable.

Your Certified Local Guide will first lead you through the park's natural beauty, then accompany you on the thrilling descent into an Ancient Underground Labyrinth. You will discover the secrets of the early Christian communities and the magnificent works of Roman hydraulic engineering. An unmissable experience for lovers of mystery and adventure.

  • Know Before You Go: Route: 90% of the itinerary takes place on the ancient Roman paving stones of the Appian Way, in a limited traffic zone (access restricted to residents only). Only two short road crossings are planned: one to enter the Aqueducts Park and one between Tor Fiscale and the Caffarella Park

  • Know Before You Go: Mandatory: Basic-intermediate cycling experience. Guide conducts test and can deny participation (no refund) for insufficient skills/unsuitability

  • Know Before You Go: Children: E-Bike min. age is 12. Children under 139cm / 4ft 7in use a tag-along. Infants (20kg / 44lbs) ride free in a child seat
