Day 1 - Visit to Lisbon
10:00 AM Pick-up of passengers in an air-conditioned van at the designated location and start of the tour of the charms of Lisbon by traveling through the historic neighborhoods of the city of Lisbon. We will explore Alfama, the oldest neighborhood in the city of Lisbon, with its narrow streets and observation decks, which are a must-see.
Baixa is the historic heart and commercial center of Lisbon. Its neoclassical architecture, built after the 1755 earthquake, surrounds Praça do Comércio and Praça do Rossio. The bustling pedestrian streets decorated with Portuguese cobblestones are an attraction for those who visit us.
Praça do Comércio, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real and São Bento will be places to visit.
Belém is undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions due to its monuments and traditional sweets. Here you can visit the Jerónimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém, the Monument of the Discoveries, the Navy Museum, and the Pastéis de Belém, and pass by the Belém Palace, the official residence of the President of the Republic. No less interesting is the National Coach Museum and the Cultural Center of Belém.
Crossing the Tagus River over the 25 de Abril Bridge, you will reach Christ the King for a view over the city of Lisbon.
In the city center, you will make a brief stop to visit Parque Eduardo VII, located at the top of Avenida da Liberdade, which offers an excellent panoramic view of the city. Initially called Parque da Liberdade, it was renamed after the King of England during his visit to Lisbon in 1903. Since its inception, this park has been the venue for fairs, exhibitions, and entertainment.
On the observation deck, there is a monument in memory of the 1974 Carnation Revolution.
The famous Avenida da Liberdade is the main avenue of the city of Lisbon, connecting Parque Eduardo VII to Praça do Comércio, where luxury, hotels, luxury boutiques, and the Portuguese sidewalk showcase all the refinement of this place, which is one of the most expensive in Portugal.
Day 2 - Visit to Sintra and Cascais
9:00 AM/10:00 AM Pick-up of passengers and start of the tour towards Sintra
Twenty minutes from Lisbon, we will make the first optional stop at the Palace of Queluz. The National Palace of Queluz, also known as the Royal Palace of Queluz, is an 18th-century palace.
A luxurious palace that was the residence of the royal family.
Also known as a replica of the Chateau de Versailles due to its influence on architecture. Optional visit 13€ per person.
Next, we will go to the village of Sintra. Sintra is one of those places full of magic and mystery where nature and man come together in such a perfect symbiosis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here you can visit one or two of the palaces that Sintra has to offer.
Cabo da Roca: This is where you will meet the Atlantic Ocean at the westernmost point of continental Europe.
Cascais is a fishing village known for its sandy beaches and busy marina.
Return to Lisbon along the coast.
The tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
