Satomi-sensei learned her techniques from Yuki-sensei, a professional sushi roll maker, and teaches lessons to many local Japanese people and tourists from overseas at "Piano Piano Cafe & Studio" in Chuo Ward. Like Yuki-sensei, she also learned the basics of Japanese cuisine from a chef who once served meals to Emperor Showa. One drink from the cafe menu is free with Satomi-sensei's class.
