Your snowboard instructor builds on your skills. Depending on your level, he practices different abilities and techniques with you. Beginners learn to maintain balance. After that, your instructor practices sliding with you to gain initial success on flat terrain.
Once the basics are in place, you will start to learn your first turns and safely control your speed on easy blue slopes. With growing experience, your technique becomes more precise, enabling you to master and ride red slopes cleanly.
