The growers' unique cultivation methods, arrived at after years of trial and error, allow you to enjoy the fields of top-quality strawberries, ripened under strict management, while immersed in their sweet fragrance. After strawberry picking, you can also interact with the animals on the expansive grounds! Awaji Country Garden is located on a small mountaintop in the northern part of Awaji Island, in a prime location offering panoramic views of the Akashi Strait and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge below, as well as the Kobe cityscape on the opposite shore. Two greenhouses tucked into a corner of the vast grounds are filled with countless large, bright red, ripe strawberries, ready to be eaten. Known as "sun strawberries," the Benihoppe variety boasts a subtle tartness with a subtle sweetness that's sure to become addictive. The growers' years of dedication have helped them achieve the quality they have today. Within one greenhouse, 12 rows of growing shelves stretch over 20 meters, housing approximately 2,500 seedlings, their leaves spreading wide and healthy. Just looking at the healthy seedlings, carefully managed and cultivated using painstaking methods based on data accumulated over many years of experience, reveals the care and attention they have received. The standard size of the strawberries grown in this greenhouse is large, at 2L, but the extra-large strawberries, which are individually packaged and sold as luxury gifts, are particularly noteworthy. These strawberries are about the size of small peaches and can cost over 500 yen each! Participants can enjoy the same quality strawberries through the strawberry-picking experience. It might also be fun to search for extra-large strawberries, the kind often sold as gifts. The joy of finding them is even greater! The greenhouse uses the now-popular elevated cultivation method, with shelves about one meter above the ground, making it easy for adults and children alike to reach and pick the strawberries without having to assume an awkward position.Enveloped in the sweet aroma that fills the greenhouse, you can enjoy to your heart's content the strawberries grown by our hard-working staff, who strive to bring you "delicious, fun, and joyful" experiences.

Our garden's strawberries are a variety called "Benihoppe," known for their well-balanced sweetness and tartness, and are nicknamed "sun strawberries." The standard size for strawberries grown in greenhouses is 2L. The extra-large gift-sized varieties grow to about the size of a small peach. Our garden's agricultural team cultivates these masterpieces using a unique cultivation method developed through repeated trial and error. We carefully cultivate our strawberries, carefully checking the condition and dryness of the leaves. We plant seedlings farther apart than usual to ensure that our customers can pick large, high-quality strawberries, which we are sure will delight our strawberry-picking customers.

Our soft serve ice cream made with freshly harvested strawberries is also very popular. It contains no additives and is a proud product made with 100% strawberries from our own garden. Although it's called soft serve ice cream, it has a texture similar to gelato made from shaved strawberries. We also recommend the "Awaji Milk Soft Serve," made with simple ingredients of Awaji Island milk and sugar beets, and the "Milk and Strawberry Mix Soft Serve," made with milk and strawberries. *Since both are additive-free, they melt easily, so we recommend purchasing them in cups on windy or warm days.

We've added friendly ducks, fluffy rabbits, growing baby goats, and a friendly donkey to our collection. Enjoy some quality time interacting with animals you don't usually get to see.
