Product Info
- This is an authentic experience plan where you will use beautiful silk threads to weave a 15cm x 15cm piece of fabric using the Tsuzure-ori technique (finished sizes may vary, and you may be able to weave more). Because the warp threads are pulled tighter in Tsuzure-ori than in other types of weaving, you will use your fingernails (Tsumegaki) or a shuttle to pluck the warp threads. At that moment, you can hear a pleasant sound, like playing a koto, at the boundary between the warp threads and the fabric being created. Enjoy the elegant traditional craft techniques, the luster of pure silk, and even the sounds created by the threads.

- Watch a video on Nishijin Tsumegaki Tsuzure-ori and receive an explanation of the production process while looking at the workshop's looms and tools. Then, you will start the weaving process, beginning with selecting your threads. The workshop has about 16 looms, including large ones that can accommodate 4 to 8 people at once. Traditional craftsmen and artisans will gently support you so that you can create a wonderful piece of Nishijin-ori. Please feel free to consult with us regarding color schemes and designs.

- If the event is cancelled due to circumstances, the organizer will contact you by the day before. - Cancellations 1 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
