We are also the company behind 'Kiyomizu Hashi,' a popular chopstick-making experience located within the grounds of the World Heritage site, Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto. You can now enjoy this same experience, which cherishes the natural beauty of wood and Japanese craftsmanship, right here in Ginza, Tokyo. During the experience, you can choose your preferred material from 26 types of wood and 2 different lengths. Each piece of wood has a unique color, grain, weight, and texture, and part of the fun is holding them in your hands to find the perfect pair for you. We also offer rare woods that are hard to find elsewhere, such as Yakusugi cedar and pink ivory. From traditional Japanese woods to beautifully colored woods from overseas, please take your time comparing their unique characteristics before making your choice. Once you have selected your wood, you will shape it using a plane, polish it carefully with sandpaper, and finish it with oil. Our staff will be there to support you, so even beginners can participate with confidence. You can take your finished chopsticks home on the same day. These chopsticks, which you carved and finished with your own hands, are more than just a souvenir; they become a special, everyday item that will remind you of your time in Japan. Each table is equipped with a smartphone stand, allowing you to record videos of your crafting process.
