In late autumn, embark on the most charming autumn foliage route in Central Japan.
- Day 1: Depart from Nagoya for the World Cultural Heritage site, 【Shirakawa-go Gassho Village】. Stroll through the valley where the ancient village and autumn leaves intertwine, and feel the peaceful atmosphere. Then, visit 【Hida Takayama Old Town】, walk through the Edo-style alleys, taste Hida beef, delicious desserts, and local snacks, and experience the warm hospitality of the traditional town.
- Stay overnight at 【Takayama Associa Resort】 (or an equivalent hotel)—a high-end hot spring resort surrounded by forests. The hotel features natural hot springs and excellent mountain views, with spacious and comfortable rooms and a rich breakfast, allowing you to relax completely.
- Day 2: Head to 【Kamikochi】 for a light hiking trip limited to late autumn. Walk slowly along the clear Azusa River, admire the majestic Hotaka Mountain Range and the mountains full of autumn leaves, as if you were in a postcard-perfect fairyland.
Return to Nagoya after the tour. A 2-day, 1-night trip to capture the ultimate autumn scenery and memories of Japan.
Shirakawa-go is surrounded by mountains and crisscrossed by rice paddies, with streams flowing through it, earning it the nickname "Kingdom of Forests and Streams." The village of Ogimachi in Shirakawa-go has the largest number of households among the three villages registered as World Heritage Sites (Shirakawa-go, Aikura of Gokayama, and Suganuma), with 152 households.

The traditional Gassho-zukuri houses, surrounded by lush green rice paddies and distant mountains, evoke a sense of tranquility and nature. The blue sky and white clouds add a refreshing touch to the scene.
Every autumn, Shirakawa-go is ablaze with golden and fiery red hues as the mountains and forests turn golden. Ancient gassho-zukuri (traditional Japanese houses) stand quietly amidst rice paddies and autumn leaves, resembling a village straight out of a fairytale. Wisps of smoke rise from chimneys, streams murmur, and the gentle sunlight enhances the tranquility and warmth, making it one of the most captivating autumn scenes in Japan.
The Wada family home is the most representative Gassho-zukuri (south-sho) house in Shirakawa-go. Surrounded by autumn foliage, the old house and mountain scenery intertwine to create a gentle, timeless painting.
An ancient street lined with traditional Japanese wooden houses, the street exudes a strong historical atmosphere, giving people a feeling of stepping back in time.

This is a shared ride with fixed itinerary. Customers participating in this tour are requested to adhere to the time allotted at each attraction and follow the instructions of the driver/guide.
No refunds will be given for any absences or cancellations due to personal issues, lateness, or other reasons. Please take note.

Depending on the day's traffic conditions, weather, holidays, and crowds, arrival times and sightseeing times for each attraction may vary. We apologize for any delays or cancellations caused by the aforementioned factors or other unforeseen circumstances, and no refunds will be provided on such grounds.
Meals are not included in the itinerary except for breakfast on the second day. Lunch and dinner are at the guests' own expense. There will be dining options at various attractions, or guests may prepare their own meals.
