Amanohashidate, located in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture, is a natural sandbar about 3.6 kilometers long, covered with dense pine forests, resembling a green dragon lying across Miyazu Bay. Viewed from above, the sandbar looks like a "floating bridge to the sky," hence the name "Amanohashidate" (meaning "bridge to the sky").
Chion-ji Temple, located in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture, is an ancient temple dedicated to Manjushri Bodhisattva. It is considered one of the "Three Great Manjushri Temples of Japan" and is especially popular among those seeking wisdom and academic success. The temple grounds are solemn and tranquil, with a magnificent entrance gate surrounded by pine trees, adding to its ancient atmosphere.
Ine, a seaside town in northern Kyoto Prefecture, is famous for its unique "boat houses." These wooden buildings have fishing boats moored directly on the first floor, while the second floor serves as living space, creating a special seaside landscape that has earned it the nickname "the Venice of Japan."
Miyama Gassho-zukuri Village is nestled amidst mountains and streams, offering picturesque scenery in all four seasons: cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, autumn foliage, and snow in winter. The thatched-roof houses are scattered in a charming, orderly fashion, and the rising smoke from their chimneys evokes the feeling of stepping into a traditional Japanese village steeped in history.

There are Ferris wheels and amusement facilities suitable for all ages on the mountain. The view of Amanohashidate from here looks like a dragon flying into the sky, hence it is called 'Hiryu-kan' (Flying Dragon View), where you can see the vibrant scenery of Amanohashidate. - 14:40Kyoto's 'Shirakawa-go' - Miyama Kayabuki no Sato (Approx. 40 minutes, free time) 'Miyama Kayabuki no Sato' is known as one of the three remaining thatched-roof village settlements in Japan, alongside Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture and Ouchi-juku in Fukushima Prefecture. Looking across the entire area, the quiet, silent village and the rows of thatched-roof houses make you feel as if you have returned to the Edo period of ancient Japan.
