Calling all pasta lovers! Discover the art of Italian cooking with this exclusive small-group class held in a real Tuscan trattoria in the heart of Florence. Learn how to prepare traditional tagliatelle, ravioli, and tiramisù from scratch, guided step by step by a professional local chef.
If you join the morning session (9 am, except Sundays and holidays), the experience begins with a visit to the Sant’Ambrogio Market, Florence’s most authentic food market. Stroll among vibrant stalls piled high with fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and artisanal specialties, and help your chef handpick the best ingredients for your lesson.
Back in the kitchen, it’s aprons on and sleeves rolled up! Start by preparing classic sauces like ragù and fresh tomato sauce, then knead pasta dough the traditional way — just flour and eggs. While the dough rests, turn your attention to dessert: learn the secrets behind Italy’s most beloved sweet, tiramisu, making silky mascarpone cream and assembling your masterpiece before chilling it to perfection.
With the tiramisù cooling, enjoy a quick break with Tuscan appetizers and stories from your chef about Italy’s culinary traditions. Then it’s time to shape the dough into tagliatelle and ravioli filled with creamy ricotta. Once your pasta is cooked and dressed with its sauces, gather around the table with your fellow classmates.
Finish the day with the ultimate reward: a delicious homemade Italian meal, paired with a glass of house wine. Share laughs, raise a toast, and savor every bite of the dishes you’ve created.
