Kyoto's most famous cherry blossom spot! A sea of blossoms stretches 1.4 kilometers, formed by 220 cherry trees, offering a breathtaking natural view. This is an excellent place to view cherry blossoms, and you can enjoy magnificent scenery at the confluence of three rivers—the Uji River, the Kizu River, and the Katsura River.
In addition, you can participate in a variety of fun activities, such as the "Cherry Blossom Market" with its food stalls, and rides on the "Cherry Blossom Encounter Cruise" and the "Hanami-fune E-Boat." You can try the "Sixty-four Hexagrams Dharma Lottery" method of drawing lots. Each mini Dharma represents a different hexagram and fortune. You can place it anywhere in the temple or take it home as a symbol of good luck.
