At Tanokami Kitchen, we offer healthy and delicious dishes incorporating rich ingredients from the Minamisatsuma area, based on the theme of 'local production for local consumption.' We highly recommend our signature dishes, which feature rice grown with our partners and 'Kawanabe Beef,' a black wagyu breed carefully raised in Kawanabe! The facility also includes a craft beer brewery, where you can enjoy factory tours and fresh beer. Our unique restaurant, renovated from a closed school, is equipped with terrace seating, creating a space that everyone from children to adults can enjoy♪
The hamburger steak, made with melt-in-your-mouth tender "Kawanabe beef," is a special delicacy with a hint of Kawabe miso! This "Kawanabe beef" is also used in the special demi-glace sauce. The garnishes are also hearty ◎ Sukiyaki is also recommended, with miso and bonito stock used as a secret ingredient in the sauce. Each person is provided with their own dedicated stove, so you can enjoy the meat cooked to your liking. The seasonal melon soda, made with Kawabe melon, is also recommended.
Our restaurant is located in a complex that was renovated from an abandoned school. Families with children can enjoy a tour of the craft beer factory and relax on the terrace. We also have a powder room where you can bring your stroller and a diaper changing space! We also have a menu for kids, so we look forward to welcoming the whole family.
SANKAKUBEERWORKS, located within the facility, brews craft beer, so you can enjoy the taste of freshly brewed beer right in front of you. There are 5-6 types of beer on offer, 3-4 of which are on tap! You can also take a tour of the factory. We also have a full cafe menu and seasonal melon sodas made with Kawabe melons. We also accept takeout orders, so please feel free to stop by.
