Marvel at the Fortress, a medieval castle, that is considered to be the oldest inhabited German fortress and also the town emblem. Listen to the local legend saying that the castle was first built in the 7th century by the Merovingian king Dagobert I. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of the Old Town and Lake Constance.
