- Grant Park - see the oldest surviving pre-Civil War home in Atlanta as well as the birthplace of golf legend, Bobby Jones
- Oakland Cemetery - the garden cemetery is the final resting place for various historical figures including Civil War soldiers, the author of Gone with the Wind, and the co-founder of The Masters Golf Tournament
- Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Site - the district includes the birthplace, church, and final resting place of the leader of the Civil Rights movement
