Don a beautiful Maiko costume and explore the charm and mystery of Kyoto culture. Our professional photographer will take photos to commemorate the most beautiful and moving moment of your journey. After the photo shoot, you are free to stroll around or go sightseeing in the surrounding area. Walk through the nostalgic flower streets and savor the romance of Kyoto.

【Aya】 is located in Gion, the most famous and beautiful birthplace of Maiko. Near Gion, there are many high-end Japanese restaurants, long-established inns, teahouses, and other quaint shops. Step out of 【Aya】, and the historic atmosphere of Kyoto is right before your eyes. Take a step into this unique and charming world of Maiko!

The studio of Maiko 【Aya】, located in a 100-year-old Kyoto townhouse, is filled with classical Japanese charm. Our studio is a traditional Kyoto Machiya. It features an exquisite traditional garden where you can take photos while dressed in a Maiko costume. 【Aya】 is the only studio in Kyoto that offers such a unique Kyoto atmosphere.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 70% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
