When the train arrives at the market, watch as shop tents are folded away in unison, and experience the thrill of the train passing just inches away. It is closer than you can imagine and an experience you cannot have in Japan.
The sight of the train passing just centimeters away is truly astonishing. Immediately after it passes, the tents are reopened in an instant, and the market returns to its daily routine.

At the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, enjoy a boat ride through the network of canals to soak in the atmosphere. The market is bustling with boats selling snacks, daily necessities, and souvenirs. It is a uniquely Thai experience to see friendly local vendors selling their goods, such as classic cold coconut ice cream and fresh fruits.

Lunch is at your leisure at the floating market (not included in the tour price; payable locally). Why not try some local delicacies? The pick-up time is scheduled to be around 8:00AM, but we will inform you of the confirmed time via the "Message" function on KKday in the evening before the tour.

Target areas: Central Bangkok, Sathorn, Silom, Siam, Pratunam, Khaosan Road, Charoen Krung Road, Sukhumvit area (between Soi 1-57 and Soi 2-36)

*Pick-up areas are mainly in the city center. If you are outside the pick-up area, such as near the airport, we will guide you to meet at River City Bangkok.


- Disclaimer -

  • Please note that the itinerary may change depending on local traffic conditions on the day.

  • Please be sure to arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour. If you are late, you may not be able to join the tour.

  • The itinerary and end time are only a guide. Please note that they may change depending on road conditions.

  • A Japanese guide will always be present, but if the number of participants is small, you may be traveling on the same bus as other tourists from other countries.

  • Please leave large baggage such as suitcases at your hotel and refrain from bringing them on the tour.

  • The insurance coverage included in this tour is as follows (maximum amount for each): Loss of Life, Loss of Sight, or Total Permanent Disability: 1,000,000 THB Medical expenses for each accident: 500,000 THB *If you wish to expand the coverage or increase the amount of coverage, please purchase your own insurance.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
