- Spot Introduction -

  • Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
    Includes a small boat experience, allowing you to take your time and soak in the atmosphere of the intricate canal network. The market is bustling with small boats selling various items such as snacks, daily necessities, and souvenirs. It is a uniquely Thai experience to see friendly local vendors approaching one after another to sell their goods, including the classic cold coconut ice cream and fresh fruits.

  • Maeklong Railway Market
    In this market, which spreads out around the train tracks, fresh food and daily goods are sold. It is a must-see to watch the vendors quickly fold up their umbrellas every time the train passes, which happens 4 times a day! The moment the train passes just centimeters in front of you is a shocking sight, closer than you can imagine!! This is a very popular market that has been featured on TV programs around the world.

  • Wat Phra Si Sanphet (World Heritage Site)
     Built in 1448, this was the guardian temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, serving a role similar to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok. It is said that the three iconic stupas lined up from east to west each house the remains of three kings and princes of the Ayutthaya Dynasty. Due to the Burmese invasion in the 18th century, only the ruins of the collapsed stupas and pillars remain today. 

  • Wat Mahathat (World Heritage Site)
     Although built by the third king in 1374, it was reduced to ruins by the Burmese invasion. It is a representative 14th-century ruin, famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots. 

  • Wat Lokayasutharam
    Built during the Ayutthaya period, this temple is located in the west of Ayutthaya, north of Khun Phaen House. It features a massive reclining Buddha, 5 meters high and 28 meters long, lying peacefully in a vast, lush grassy field.

-About the meeting place-

[Hotel pick-up]
The pickup time is scheduled to be around 6:00 AM, but we will inform you of the confirmed time via the KKday "Message" function in the evening of the day before the tour.
Target areas: Central Bangkok, Sathorn, Silom, Siam, Pratunam, Khaosan Road, Charoen Krung Road, Sukhumvit area (between Soi 1-57 and 2-36)
*Pick-up areas are mainly within the city center. If you are outside of this area, such as near the airport, we will arrange for you to meet at River City Bangkok.


- What to bring on the day -

[Temple dress code (for both men and women)]
・Outerwear: Clothing that does not expose shoulders (short-sleeved T-shirts are acceptable) *Tank tops, sleeveless tops, beach sandals, etc. are not permitted ・Underwear: Clothing that falls to the knee (knee-length shorts and skirts are acceptable) *If your underwear is shorter than the knee, you will not be allowed to enter the temple.

Reminders

  • Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time

  • Although the departure time is listed as 06:30, the final pick-up time will be announced in the evening of the previous day. Please be sure to check the KKday message.

  • The pick-up area is mainly in the city center. If you are outside the pick-up area, such as near the airport, we will arrange for you to meet at River City Bangkok.

  • A Japanese-speaking guide will always be present, but if the number of participants is small, you may be traveling on the same bus as other international guests.

  • Due to bad weather or sudden changes in local circumstances, we may not be able to provide tours on the day.

  • The end of the tour may be delayed depending on the time of year, the number of participants, road conditions, etc. Therefore, we do not recommend that you participate if you have plans immediately after the scheduled end time or if you are planning to return home on the same day.

  • If you leave any items behind on the day of the tour, please come to a location designated by our company if you wish to collect them after the tour. Please note that if you do not collect your items for more than six months, they will be disposed of.

  • Please leave large luggage such as suitcases at your hotel and refrain from bringing them on the tour.

  • The insurance coverage included in this tour is as follows (maximum amounts for each): Loss of Life, Loss of Sight, or Total Permanent Disability: 1,000,000 THB Medical expenses for each accident: 500,000 THB *If you wish to expand the coverage or increase the amount of coverage, please purchase your own insurance.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–1 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
