Begin your adventure at Cat Ba Ecolodge, nestled in the forested hills above Xuan Dam village. If you're a day-trip guest, enjoy a convenient transfer from Cat Ba town center. Get fitted for your bike, receive a route briefing, and pack water for the ride.

Set off on a full loop around the quieter side of Xuan Dam, exploring sights that locals live around. Stop at a local household that makes traditional rice wine. See the process firsthand and hear how it's done, straight from the family who makes it.

Park your bike at the trailhead and take a 20–30 minute walk down a rocky path to Chut Chit, a small, quiet beach still mostly known only to locals. Enjoy a drink on the sand and take a dip in the clear water.

Get back on your bike and ride through the heart of Xuan Dam, passing everyday village life along the way. Continue along the coast past Cat Don beach and into Cat Don village itself, without stopping to swim.

Stop at Goi temple, a small temple tucked into the hills - a sacred temple where locals come to hear about the temple's legend. Visit this quiet spiritual site woven into local life, rarely visited by outsiders. Finally, cycle back to Cat Ba Ecolodge to close the loop.

Finish your tour with a relaxed lunch at the lodge with a drink and light snack. Spend some time by the pool or under the pine trees before heading back.
