Prambanan: Hands-On Batik Master Class from Start to Finish｜Indonesia

Begin with an introduction to batik, the tools you will use, and the correct techniques.

Then learn the full batik-making process as you create a handkerchief-sized piece. You can choose to make a tote bag for a small extra cost.

At the end of the workshop, take your finished batik home as a souvenir. The workshop is led by a master batik artist in Prambanan.

The venue is close to Sojiwan Temple, north of Prambanan Temple. While waiting for the batik to dry after the coloring process, you can visit Sojiwan Temple or relax at the workshop and follow the entire process.
