Enjoy an authentic and complete Zapotec experience in Teotitlán del Valle, designed to learn about the daily life, culture, and tradition of the town, accompanied by a local guide.

The experience kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with pick-up and local round-trip transportation within Teotitlán del Valle, either at a hotel or other accommodation in the village. We'll start with a guided tour of the municipal market, where you'll get to know local products and cuisine.

Then we'll head back to the house to enjoy a traditional breakfast. Later, we'll take a cultural tour of the village that includes the church, the cultural center, the archaeological zone, and the community museum, with tickets included.

Back at the house, you'll enjoy a demonstration of wool rugs with natural dyes, where you'll learn about the artisanal process and traditional techniques used by local artisans. Traditional food is offered later.

In the afternoon, we'll take a guided hike to El Picacho hill to enjoy the sunset and a panoramic view of the whole town. The experience includes snacks and a bottle of water. At the end, you can buy rugs or souvenirs, explore the village on your own, or be taken back to your accommodation in Teotitlán del Valle.
