This exciting and unforgettable tour starts when we pick you up from your hotel or accommodation lobby and take you to the Casa del Alebrije, our workshop located in La Crucesita (center). Once there, you'll feel like you've crossed a portal into a magical world of alebrijes. These hand-painted, vibrantly colored wood-carved figures are the epitome of Oaxacan craftsmanship. After learning how to make these fantastic figures, and with the help of a master craftsman, you can paint your own alebrije! You'll be given a small figure, a brush, and paint. It's time to decorate the piece you've chosen! Dive into the colors and let your imagination run wild.
