Yellowstone: Lewis Lake Afternoon Kayak Tour｜United States

Lewis Lake is a smaller body of water compared to Yellowstone Lake, yet offers the serine solitude of less people. We start off the tour by meeting at the Lewis Lake Boat Ramp. Guides will go over a quick paddle instruction/ refresher, and give a briefing on the tour. After launching, we paddle around the southern side of the lake looking for wildlife, and enjoying the scenery. Guides offer educational information about local ecology, Yellowstone’s history or fun lore.
About halfway through, we have an optional stop where you can get out of the boat, stretch your legs and walk the beach. With warmer water temperatures compared to Yellowstone Lake, we love to go for a quick dip to cool off, especially during the sunny days, so don’t forget a swim suit!
Overall, we love the peace and quiet of Lewis Lake and are excited to take people out for a relaxing, fun afternoon!
