Verona - Art and Legend Walking Tour｜Italy

Verona is often visited in passing, without long stops. But it's a city that offers an incredible variety of places to remember and fall in love with. The urban layout dates back to the Roman imperial era and is enriched by great architectural works from the Medieval, Renaissance, and modern eras. The Adige River, which runs through the city, forms a natural bend enclosing atmospheric streets that, in the era of the nobility, were frequented by knights and merchants; stately palaces frescoed by great artists and decorated in the classic Gothic style made famous by the Venetian schools. Of course, there is no shortage of iconic sights such as the famous Arena, once a place dedicated to gladiator shows and now home to the great musical events of the Veneto region; the famous Juliet's Balcony, a very important place for all lovers who visit the city; the beautiful church of Sant'Anastasia, which houses a famous fresco by Pisanello; the Scaliger Tombs, a sacred place for the people of Verona that leaves everyone speechless; or Porta Borsari, an ancient city entrance.
Our guides, who speak English, Italian, French, and Russian, are all local residents who know not only the monuments, but the soul of the city. They can recommend the best restaurants, bars and shops for shopping.
