Built by the Vendramin family in 1622, the Teatro Goldoni is the oldest theater in Venice and in Italy still in existence today, with 400 years of continuous activity. Thanks to the cultural and social ethos of the city of Venice, Carlo Goldoni was able to undertake the reform of the theater that led him to create immortal works and characters, which have always resonated on stages around the world and in many languages. During the visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore the most iconic spaces of the theater, learning about its history, architecture and backstage operations.
