Turin is not just elegance, royal palaces, and great mysteries. There is also a more severe and little-known city, linked to the history of justice, convictions, and the places where the harshest sentences were carried out for centuries.
This tour will take you through streets, squares and corners of the historic old town connected to the courts, executioners, convicts and the ancient sites of public executions. We will discover real-life stories, forgotten characters, and interesting facts that reveal an unusual side of Turin's past.
An evocative and engaging itinerary, far from the best-known routes, to understand how justice, punishments, and public rituals worked in eras very different from our own.
A guided visit dedicated to those who want to discover a more hidden Turin, among history, news, legends, and events that have left a mark in the city's memory.
