The solar ship is the most modern of its kind in Berlin and combines an exclusive ambience with sustainability. Let Berlin's most famous landmarks pass by you in complete tranquility.
The tour starts right at the Oberbaumbrücke, in the harbor of Solarwaterworld AG, in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Stralauer Allee 3, 10245 Berlin, behind the nhow hotel. On the approximately 2.5-hour trip, we pass all the city's major landmarks that are visible from the water and treat you to beverages, cakes, and snacks.
We sail under the impressive Oberbaumbrücke, glide past the world-famous East Side Gallery, and make our only stop at Märkisches Ufer, at Jannowitzbrücke. From there, we continue past the historic Nikolaiviertel – a real highlight of the tour is the passage of the ship through the Mühlendamm Lock.
Afterwards, the journey continues westwards, passing by Berlin's cultural heritage, Museum Island, and the government district with the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery. Not much further on, the central railway station, one of the city's architectural masterpieces, becomes visible.
The catamaran continues to the “House of World Cultures” – also known as the “Pregnant Oyster.” Here we turn around and take the route back to the starting point, the harbor of Solarwaterworld AG.
Our solar catamaran is wheelchair accessible and offers a disabled-friendly toilet. Audio guides are included in the price.
From December 1st, we will decorate our ship for Christmas for you.
